Dancers receive top tuition
Dance Wanaka students pointed their toes, twirled & leaped with over 180 other dancers from around New Zealand this school holidays.
Dance Around The World Showcase
This is Wanaka's biggest dance event of the year. Prepare to be entertained by 200 local dancers, who'll perform items from across the globe. Inspired by music, artists & national traditions, we'll vist over 20 countries with our talented modern & classical dancers. An 80minute family show.

Classical & Modern dancers received plenty of success last weekend at the BBO Theatre Awards.
Excellence for dancers
Dance Wanaka dancers were delighted to receive certificates of excellence for recent examinations this week.
Theatre Awards success
Seven dancers from Dance Wanaka participated in BBO Theatre Awards last month (20 Sept), and proudly scooped nine medals and ribbons. The dancers performed classical ballet, barefoot, jazz lyrical & demi character items in front of an Australian adjudicator.
Hip Hop & Ballet exams

Dance Camp & African Drums
Autumn Camp is a school holiday programme (28-30 April) actioned packed full of dance, drama, music & art. This fun filled camp is perfect for enthusiastic dancers & those with creative flair. Shaping up to include Modern Jazz, Classical, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, African drums & dance, & Applied Art Workshops. It will conclude with a fun display to parents & friends. Studio Opening Celebration
Dance Wanaka officially opened its new studio on Thursday (5 Dec), and marked the occasion with Royal NZ Ballet celebrities in town.
