Uniforms

We stock all uniform dance wear supplies at our studios plus all the basics.  Collect & purchase on Studio Open days or through the Studio Manager. 

We have carefully selected quality and durable garments for all styles. Most of these are sourced from PW dance wear who are a NZ owned dance wear supplier.

Shoes

We stock Paul Wright shoe sizes at the studio shop.  This includes ballet flats & jazz shoes. We make weekly orders also for individual orders including costumes & non set dancewear.  Shoe fittings are available by appointment & at our Studio Open days.  

We encourage 2nd hand shoes to be circulated as much as possible.  These can be viewed on Saturady mornings or upon request. To sell : put your items in a clear plastic bag + contact name/phone & asking price.  

 

BALLET UNIFORM

Pre Primary & Primary levels

Girls

  • Pink chloe dress with capped sleeve
  • Pink socks (tights optional in winter) 
  • Pink ballet flats with elastics
  • Hair in bun or head band for short hair

Boys

  • white cap sleeve t-shirt
  • black ballet tights
  • black ballet flats with white socks

Grades 1 to 5

 Girls

  • Navy leotard - Jane style (Grades 1-3), Bronwyn style (Grades 4-5)
  • Navy practise skirt with elastic waist
  • Pink tights (socks optional in summer)
  • Pink ballet flats - with elastic (Grades 1&2), with ribbons (Grade 3+)
  • Hair in a bun

Boys = white boys leotard, black ballet tights, black ballet flats with white socks

Majors

Girls

  • Black leotard (bronwyn style)
  • Black basque practise skirt
  • Pink tights
  • Ballet flats with ribbons
  • Pointe shoes
  • Hair in a bun

JAZZ, CONTEMPORARY & TAP UNIFORM

Beginner to Elementary 2

  • DW red strappy-t singlet
  • Black 3/4 fitted leggings
  • Tan shoes - pink ballet flats 5&6yrs, tan elastic sided jazz boot.
  • Hair tied back off face for weekly classes (bun or french plait for events)

 Elementary 3+

  • DW black X-back singlet
  • Black X-back crop top
  • Black 3/4 fitted leggings
  • Black hotpants (optional during summer)
  • Tan jazz shoes
  • Hair tied back off face (bun or french plait for events)

 

 

HIP HOP UNIFORM

Crews 1 to 5

  • Red tee 
  • Black CWP07 (¾ leg) baggy pants
  • Black socks (for events only)
  • Clean shoes
  • Hair MUST be tied back
  • No school uniforms permitted

Dancers can wear casual tee/singlet in weekly classes but require red tee for public events

Crews 6 +

  • DW sleeveless & hooded singlet
  • Black long leg harem pants
  • Black socks (for events only)
  • Clean shoes
  • Hair MUST be tied back (ie pony tail)
