An absolutely outstanding dance school…the best in town! My daughter has been dancing here for the past five years, and the growth we’ve seen in her is incredible. This school does so much more than teach dance steps..it has genuinely shaped her as a person. She has learned to train her musical ear, strengthen her memory, and notice important details. Her concentration has improved so much, and her social and creative skills have flourished. She’s become stronger, more confident, and far more resilient. Even her perseverance and improvisation skills have evolved beautifully. Most importantly: She has FUN every single week! The teachers are warm, professional, and truly passionate. Dance Wanaka has been such a supportive and welcoming environment for my daughter. She has found community, life-long friends and a life-long love for dance. My daughter has been with Dance Wanaka since she was 4 years old, in that time she has developed from a child who had anxiety going to class into a confident dancer who loves to be on stage. She has picked up two more classes with Dance Wanaka and is absolutely thriving. Anna and her team provide outstanding support and development both in group classes and private lessons. The classes are fun, engaging and social and achieve high standards technically, as shown by the consistently high exam results attained by her dancers and the wonderful mid and end of year performances. Anna puts the upmost care into fostering a love of dance from day one and I am so grateful for my daughter to be a part of such a positive community.
