Fees

Multi-class fees : 

A block of 6-10 weekly classes range in price from $70 and based upon time/class length.

Fees can be viewed by class & level when logging into the Parent Portal.

Dance Wanaka operates on a 4 term year & run in conjunction with NZ Primary and Secondary school term dates.  

Term tuition includes :

  • Fun weekly classes

  • Opportunity to perform in 2 magical performances each year. We have an annual recital each November & a relaxed mid year display at the Lake Wanaka Centre theatre.

  • Student access to an online DW class page to assist with practise at home

  • Dancers aged 6+yrs have the opportunity to enter performance awards or assessments/exams with Asia Pacific Dance Association (APDA) or British Ballet Organisation (BBO) 

  • Preschool dancers have the flexibility to attend other weekly classes in cases of illness or family holidays 

  • Opportunity for parents to view all classes from the waiting room 

  • Family discounts: 10% discount applies for families enrolled in 3+ classes per week (eg when 1 child attends 2x classes pw & 2nd child is attending 1 class pw). Discounts have already been applied for class levels that require 2x classes pw. 

Single casual class fees :

Preschool 18 months to 4 years = $15

Youth aged 5-12years = $20

Teens/Adults 13years & over = $25

How to make payment

Account statements are emailed out prior to each term starting & fees are due first week of the term. 

Payments can be viewed and made via the Portal by credit card, paypal or direct credit. For payments into the DW bank account (Makeokeo Ltd) please use the parents name in the reference field. There are no eftpos facilities available at the studio. 

Terms & Conditions

  • Fees are due on the first week of term. Overdue fees incur a $10 late payment administration fee. 
  • All fees are subject to change depending on final enrolment numbers.
  • No credits or refunds are supplied for general sickness. Preschool dancers may choose to attend an alternative class scheduled on another week (bookings required).
  • Refunds are provided in cases of significant injury & where a medical certificate is supplied.  
  • Happiness Guarantee - applicable for unsatisfied customers, or if 'its not the right time'. 
  • In the case of class cancellations, a make-up class will be arranged or credits applied (valid for 12mths).
  • All fees have had public holidays factored into the cost.
  • Failure to pay term fees will result in the student being suspended from class unless an arrangement has been made before the due date.
