Dance Off 2026

Mid Year Display 2026 - Sunday 14 June, Lake Wanaka Centre

This is a fun mid-year display by all Dance Wanaka students at the Lake Wanaka Centre.  Every class will showcase some dance routines learned in the studios this year.  Dancers also enjoy the opportunity to watch & support one another, and see all the various styles learned within the school.

Junior Display 1-2pm.  Includes Preschool classes. 

Senior Display 3-5pm.

Tickets on sale from 1 June 10am, and will be valid for both displays. 

Dance Wanaka students/performers do not need to purchase a ticket to either display.  

A Run Sheet will be available to view at the dance studio waiting room.

Entry fee (excl dancers) is $5 for Adults & $2 for school aged children/teens.  

 

Students – please be at the LWC at 2:45pm.  There will be no rehearsal so be ready in your groups upstairs ready to dance.  There will be a run sheet (posted on wall & at studio next week)

 

What to wear:

Jazz – exam uniform.  Black ¾ leggings, DW singlet, jazz shoes (Junior+) & hair tied up. Bring prop for musical (if needed)

Hip Hop – casual clothes of your own choice and clean street shoes

Ballet – pink or blue leotard, skirt (Pre primary & primary), ballet shoes, tights, hair in bun. 

Sparkles – Optional.  Bring instrument & boxes (Thurs 10am class
